HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is an image format used by Apple devices running iOS 11 and later. It uses the HEVC (H.265) codec for compression, producing files roughly half the size of equivalent JPEGs while maintaining the same visual quality. Can I combine several photos into one multi-page PDF?
Not yet. Every image you convert becomes its own separate PDF file. Combining several images into a single multi-page document is a planned feature and is not available today — we would rather say so than have you subscribe and discover it. If you need a multi-page document now, convert each photo and merge the PDFs with a dedicated PDF tool.
Can I choose A4 or Letter page size?
No. The page is always sized to match the image's dimensions, which is deliberate — it is what stops your photo from landing small in the corner of a standard sheet with wide white margins. There is no page-size selector. If you need the image placed on a specific paper size, your printer's scale-to-fit setting will handle it at print time.
What quality is the image inside the PDF?
The photo keeps its original pixel dimensions — a 12-megapixel HEIC stays 12 megapixels inside the PDF, so it is suitable for printing. It is embedded as a JPEG at quality 95, which is a lossy step, though at that setting the difference from the original is not visible without deliberate close inspection. This keeps the PDF at a sane size; embedding losslessly would produce enormous files for photographic content.
